Metal accessories are selected for their load performance, dependent on merchandising requirements and density of display required and the configuration to be used in terms of Slatwall or Modular. In terms of Slatwall we would always recommend aluminium inserts, for their greater load bearing capacity and only us PVC inserts for decorative or lightweight, high-density merchandise. Modular systems are a more suitable solution for heavier products, in more demanding retail environments.
Where relevant, approved load comparison graphics may be used to demonstrate the performance benefit of reinforced and properly engineered display configurations.
Selected CTI metal accessories incorporate reinforced creased backplate forming, allowing the accessory to sit more securely against the panel surface while improving rigidity and reducing flex under load.
